Surrey meeting November 2015

What a brilliant evening, and given that our dear friends from France were visiting, how appropriate to have a minute's silence after the atrocities in Paris only last week.

But it was capped, big time, when Shogun Ltd, the French band, asked us all to stand when they played "Wonderful Land". How poignant, how appropriate, how moving.

To me it really was the highlight of a brilliant evening.

Thank you to all involved in creating this event.

Thanks for your kind comments Ken. It was indeed a very special evening with the visit by SHOTGUN Ltd representing our twinned club - SHADOWMANIACS France. They are all now safely back home in France and send their kind wishes to everyone at the Surrey Shadows Club for again making them feel so welcome.

At our combined Christmas & 8th Birthday meeting on the 18th December we shall be hosting the first visit to the UK by FOOT TAPPER, a great Shadows Tribute Band, coming from Nancy in France. Nobody should miss the programme they have put together for us.
