The NI Shadows Club is sad to announce that “Gentleman” Jim Tully succumbed to his illness on Friday evening. Jim was a founder member of the NI Shadows Club and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Attached is a link to a home recording recently made of Jim (on lead guitar) and friends playing “Tonight”, as mixed by Steve Mitchell and recorded using an Echotapper optimised as per Steve’s instructions. This was played as the mourners left the church following Jim's funeral service. His prized Hank Marvin Fender Strat was on display at the front of the church, highly polished and lovingly maintained by Jim as he did with all his gear.

Thanks again,Philip for sharing this. The turnout to remember Jim was enormous, he was well respected, and the track of him playing Tonight provoked much emotion as it played him out of the church, - it was very fitting.
