N I Shadows Club Report 7th February

Yet another busy day at the N I Shads club,30 plus people in attend-
ance including some new faces. The day started with a set by Hall on
drums,Chris on Keyboards,George on rhythm,Des on bass,Jim on lead, and
this formed the basis of the band for the remainder of the day.

The next set featured Bernard on lead and to everyones surprise sang
and played lead on "Move it",- the first time he has sung in public.

Our regular visitor from Dublin,Brian came next with an instrumental
set with George on rhythm before he performed his own lead set with
Eric,making a welcome return to the club,on rhythm.

The next lead set was by Simon with Mike on rhythm followed by their
usual speciality on acoustics,the "Lute Number".

We next enjoyed Giovanni's set with Jim on rhythm before the young
guns took the stage.

First up was Sam,strutting his stuff with Eric on rhythm with an
instrumental set of old favourites.

Paul came next with Mike on rhythm,Brian on keyboard and another
young lad Luke(12 year old) making his first appearance on drums.

Next up was Stanley who played us into a short break with Jim on
rhythm.

Another new player,Philip, turned up all the way from Craigavon,
having been informed of the club by a couple of friends from Durham
who run a new Shadows website. The site is called ShadowsArena and
all are welcome. Like several of the guys Philip has never played with
a live band before but he did well and enjoyed it.

Everyone then played an extra number to finish off another very
enjoyable day. Many thanks to everyone for attending,both players and
spectators.

Due to conflicts of dates and Easter Sunday the club days will be
changed to the second Sunday of the month in March and April.
