Christmas Party

All are welcome. If you are a player just bring your guitar, the club has everything else that is needed - echo machines, amplifiers, backing tracks and PA system. We have players of all standards from beginner to semi professional. We pride ourselves on being a friendly club and anyone who wants to play is given every help and encouragement.

Christmas Party

We have our annual Christmas Party taking place on 3rd December 2019, again at the Ekco Club, Thornford Gardens, Southend on Sea, SS2 9PU.
Doors open at seven thirty pm, and the fun starts at eight pm. There is no need to buy advance tickets. The admission charge for the party is £5 for members and non-members, and it includes a buffet.
We are pleased to confirm that we have once again booked live entertainment. The band for the party will be Quiff and The Shades.
Please note that there will be no backing tracks available at the party, so you can just sit back and enjoy the music. Better still, put on your dancing shoes and hit the floor. At the Christmas party we will have our world famous raffle. (Does that mean our normal monthly raffle is the infamous type? Answers on a postcard to...)

I would just like to thank “Quiff & The Shades” for a great evenings entertainment. We were treated to The Shadows, Cliff & The Shadows and an eclectic mix of Sixties tunes including The Hollies, The Eagles, Swinging Blue Jeans and many more. Finishing up with some rockin' Rock & Roll.
