Hall's Echo patches?

Postby Kujalanjokke » Fri Jan 07, 2022 10:09 am

Hello!

I have red about Hall's Echo patches for Zoom G3. Are these patches still available to purchase? I tried to contact seller of patches by email but didn't get answer. Does anybody have these Hall's Echo patches and are they even worth to buy?

I have Ross Hall's patches on my Zoom G3X and my Zoom G5.

They are excellent. They are very easy to install.

And yes, most certainly worth the outlay.

Cheers, Alan.

Hi Johannes.

I installed the patches on my Zoom units, probably three years ago on the G5 and five years ago on the G3X

Cheers, Alan.

I requested a licence application about a month ago from Ross Hall's web page. Actually I filled out the form twice, and I sent two mails directly to him asking about progress. Still no response. And no video has appeared at Update 2022.
Does anybody know what has happend to Ross? Is he still in business?
I would very much like to have his famous patches into my Zoom G5. I bought a unit from the net in almost mint condition and at very reasonable price.
Just listened to my Shadows early years collection. The sound, echoes and tone, is just divine, unforgettable.

Cheers,
Kimmo, guitar & bass player

BTW Ross' web site's certificate for secure connection has expired. Connection is still secure but net browsers warn about that and you have to add an exception to reach the site.

See my earlier reply. Ross tells me he is very busy with other things that have to take priority. He will give an update as soon as he can. That’s all I can report.

Meanwhile, his website certificate has expired. I don't recommend trying to visit the site as there is nothing new on it - yet.

Thanks Iain. Good to know that Ross is just busy with something new.

I'll just have to wait. Sigh. I hope he will still sell the Zoom patches too as they were highly recommended.
