I expect you've seen the Clubs Page here (if not here's a link http://www.shadowmusic.bdme.co.uk/viewforum.php?f=30) and you're right there's nothing very near to Yate. However, if you're ever able to travel a little further afield there are options worth considering.

Hi Ian

I believe the nearest to me would by the South Wales Shadows club. At the moment, travel to their get to-gethers are not an option. I can off course keep in touch with the members on here whom I must admit, have been very supportive and helpful. I am sure I will eventually get where I am going. In the mean time, I will stick to my routine of practices, practice, practice, my playing certainly needs if after so long an absence from the fret-board.
