Lexicon mx200

Hi Guys
I'm trying to get THAT SOUND but, unfortunately, I'm on a tight budget. I play a 1985/6 fender MIJ strat. I do have the zoom 508 with Shad's settings but, would like to move up a bit. Has anyone tried the Lexicon mx200 or, have any other suggestions on perhaps an alternative that wont send my bank manager into a screaming fit?
Thanks in anticipation.

Is the Lexicon a reverb unit or a repeat delay unit?

Hi Jim
The Lexicon is a twin channel unit, both reverb and delay. They reverbs appear to be the standard room/hall/concert hall etc. The delays are standard also. The two can obviously be mixed.

Thank You for replying
