Kinman compatible pup for mid position

Postby me-and-my-shadow » Sat Oct 03, 2020 2:17 pm

it gets complicated . . .I have a Highway One American Strat with a bridge position Kinman av 64. To avoid the high cost and wait for a Kinman mid position pup does anyone know a mid pup that would be compatible with the Kinman. The present Fender mid pup on the Strat is obviously not compatible. Thanks

Chris Kinman recently posted on this site so I expect he’ll see your question ...

You could always try a pm to Chris Kinman if he does not pick this up.

Thanks Roger. not sure if Chris would inclined to advise on 'other brand' pickups. I am delighted with the '64' but as posted its a long wait and expense to add another kinman. John
