I think you will find that for Spark amps it's mobile app software, i.e. Smartphones and tablets with either IOS or Android operating systems, but there seems to be output for direct recording to computer.

I have looked it up and Bluestacks is an Android emulator primarily designed for gaming, I would think your chances of getting that to run the Spark app on Windows 7 are low and it almost certainly wouldn't be supported if there are problems.

Do you not have something like an iPad (other tablet) or smartphone you could use?

Been looking for a Apple I-pad not sure which one to get
A model that's compatible with the Spark 40 and tone Cloud app
Anyone using an I-pad for the Spark, What model are you using.
I have the Spark arriving tomorrow from GuitarGuitar

Carl, You can run the Spark App. on any Tablet or phone, you don't have to buy an expensive iPad. I use a Samsung tablet SMT85 which is nowhere near as expensive as an Apple iPad. As regards the BlueStacks for running Spark App on windows, it will not work because BlueSTACKS is not compatible with BlueTOOTH. You are able to download the App but you cannot link it to the amplifier without Bluetooth capability.

Thanks for the info.
I have been on loads of web sites and they say there are problems with some Android OPs
That's why I have be looking at Ipads with IOS 11 TO 13 as mentioned on Sparks web site.
So I thought I would ask here before getting one.
Its not for using as a phone just for Bluetooth and wifi, I will check out the Samsung unit.

Thanks Brian,
Its one of the Ipads I was looking at.
I will take another look at it tomorrow morning.
Its one of the Ipads that was mentioned on Spark Website.
It is always best to know someone who uses one.
Carl.
