Very very close to the orginal sound.Rocktron Prophesy preamp is not a cheap unit 1300 euro.mostly used in proffesional studios.But there are chanses to find one second handed,as it been around for over 3 years.

Selecting the right PU at the right time is part of the game, just as playing the right Strat (maple or rosewood fingerboard) !
