Postby eugene » 28 Apr 2011, 16:51

Hi ! There.

I found that Hank used some kind of Tone pedal (not wah) on these video.

And the track "Memphis" on "Shades of Rock"

Does anyone know what it was ?

Only a wah ? :?:

It sounds very nice.

I'd prefer tone pedal rather than wah.

I had one of these back in the sixties and when it worked it was brilliant. Unfortunately the nylon ratchet system, which was used for the up/down (volume) and side-to-side (tone) actions was very unreliable. I was constantly having to adjust mine because the pedal wasn't returning the volume and tone to maximum when the pedal was not being used, which affected the normal tone, of course. Fender currently make a modern version which does work very well.

The Fender Vol/Tone foot pedal is probably the nearest modern equivalent albeit not quite the same

Hi Eugene,

don`t try this ebay bid: it is a fake. Whenever you bid automatically by a member named ***h( 464) it is immediately increased by 1 Dollar difference. So you are always outbid.
