Posted: Tue Dec 15, 2015 6:37 pmI would like to say a belated (my internet access has only just returned following my move) "thank you" to the members of the South Yorks Shadows Club for the fantastic welcome they extended to me on my first visit last Sunday. I got to play with both backing tracks and the live band - imagine my shock at the end of the session to discover I'd been in the presence of a real Shadow!
Thank you gentlemen for pretending not to notice my bum notes (being too busy moving house so haven't had a lot of time for practice, that's my excuse) and thanks also to the ladies for not remarking on the obscene amount of mince pies I was putting away.
Finally, chaps, thanks for inviting me to the North Notts meeting next week, I'm sure we will have a great time there too.
