Hi all following on from the sad loss of Spencer Scott, he had arranged for an evening of music by Eddie Wheeler ( Vanity Fare ) for the Christmas Show for his ( Spencer's ) retirement do from running the club. We had originally planned for this to go ahead as a tribute to Spence, however we now learn that Eddie himself is not well and in hospital and will not be well enough to do the gig!
As Spencer asked us to manage the club on his behalf we will have a 'normal' club night ( Wednesday 5th December ) instead.
Hopefully we will have the services of a drummer and we can get a band on the go. We have the Amps, PA, echoes etc. Spence was going to lay on a huge buffet but
we no longer have the need for that. We will have some snacks and possibly even a raffle but we need something from You, Numbers!
If we had approximate nos. of people attending that would help very much thank you.
If you can reply to this post and just put no.s i;e 1, 2, 3, 4, etc.of people that would be fine.
Also pass this on to other club members as i don't have all the info at the moment. Door fees will be reduced to £2 each.
The Club will carry on next year under a new name of MEDWAY SHADOW MUSIC as soon as i can arrange dates with the W M club etc.
So bring your Guitar and have some fun, cheers!
