Spencer,
An excellent evening last night, which augurs well for the future of the renamed club.
Thanks for putting in place the arrangements to enable me and others of bass character to do more than just spectate. Thanks especially also to the Daves and Mikes for risking their reputations with me.
Let us know when you think live backing would add to the meeting in the future again, so that I can lug my amp. from the landing in preparation!
Looking forward to the September meeting, even if you do find Nashville a more tempting prospect
Best wishes
John

Wow ! what a night that was. A huge thank you to each and everyone of you last night, for the totally unexpected reception I received. To be honest 'Country Roads' is best laid to rest, or at least tarmac ed over ! Anyway it was fun to play, and why you all clapped at the end for that tune I will never know (He's Finished Maybe) I must praise everyone's playing last night, great stuff and especially the live band idea.

Anthony,

It was real shame Jim wasn't there when you played it, one of his favourites!

Superb night, already looking forward to September.

Yes, well done Spence!

It was the best evening for a long time and I cannot wait to play with a band again even if does mean waiting until December. David, John and I are already working on our next masterpieces of musical mayhem.
Have a great time in Nasville.
