Thanks Ecca,

I am probably pushing my luck but would it be possible to add a socket for an on/off footswitch - happy to pay the extra. If it is a problem, don't worry.

All the best,

Nick

Hi everyone...my very first post here on this very interesting forum!

I agree with my great friend Nick...a footswitch option would be very worthwhile, and before it is built has to be the right time to decide to have it....good move.

All the best - Paul

Yes a footswitch.....but not in this small unit.
There's too much involved.
We'll leave it for the future.

Ok, Ecca no probs.

Watch out for Paul, by the way - an old friend of mine and in the band - a bit worrying if he starts to post here, but he will find it very interesting - hi Paul !!

All the best,

Nick

It would be possible to build an external bypass switch with patch leads - guitar into switch box with 2 way switching, one straight through the other via the etap

Thanks Roger,

Just thinking about that - very helpful, as I have come to appreciate from members of this forum. Also, a huge thank you to Ecca for being so generous in offering to put this unit together for members who ask ( and at no profit to himself). You don't often see that, so a million thanks, Ecca.

All the best,

Lol...thanks(?) Nick ...my reputation now precedes me!

If a footswitch is not possible, then I would agree that bypass is the best option..when you get the etap we can work out what you need to do.

Thanks to ecca and Roger..I have enjoyed reading some of your numerous posts and listening to demos of this great 'box of tricks'...really looking forward to Nick getting his and seeing what it does!

By the way....... if anyone is hanging on thinking that a new and different unit is on the way...... it's not going to happen yet......... and in view of the things I'm being asked to include will cost a King's ransom if and when it arrives.
