One of my all time favourite artists, great voice, great musician and great person. Some of the best songs ever written and performed. Will be very sadly missed. R.I.P Glen Campbell.

What a musician. As well as his own big hits, he played on others' records in The Wrecking Crew, he was a Beach Boy for a while and, throughout his long life ending with dementia and a major struggle with remembering lyrics, his guitar playing never faltered.
His party piece was The William Tell overture , or The Lone Ranger theme. There are dozens of videos of it around. Here's one of them.

RIP Glen..sad loss..great singer and superb guitarist..and all those wonderful songs..

I saw him and his excellent Family band some years ago- his daughter sang too and she is a great singer...he played the William Tell overture live- behind his head mostly- reminded me of Joe Brown!! :) He and the band did the Beach Boys medley too...great show and great memories..
