Posting On Facebook

Postby SJB » 02 Jan 2018, 12:20

Just a small point.
From time to time people post on this site and point to a facebook post.
Some of us are not on facebook and miss out.

Why can't everyone use this forum and post the information directly here?

Agreed - I can't stand Facebook, even though I'm on it! I try to use it as litte as possible.

It's much easier to post information directly into Facebook - particularly images - than it is here.

Additionally some link to other peoples' posts on Facebook.

Whilst that may be true, finding past information posted on Facebook is virtually impossible...

Facebook, in my opinion, is dodgy. Just like Google, I strongly suspect that they 'spy' on you and surreptitiously encourage people to post more information and details about themselves than is strictly necessary/healthy. This is my opinion and one of the reasons why I do not and will never have a facebook account. Use it with caution would be my advice. And, yes, please post info and details (Shads related) here in as complete a form as is possible.
