Hi Guys,
First of all apologies for raising this issue again when I know it was discussed recently, but I can't find where. I know Dance On was vocalised, possibly TFYL,(Apache)but where there any others,if so which ones and can they be got?

Cliff's surprisingly good vocal version of FBI. (I only say 'surprisingly' because FBI is one of the last numbers I would have thought of putting lyrics to.)

From the Jigsaw album, My Way has both vocal and instumental versions. The instrumental version is very short so for The Secrets' interpretation of it on our album Secret Society we used some elements of the vocal version, with Jim Nugent adding a little twist by making his Strat sound like a sitar while Trev Faull accompanied on harpsichord and yours truly played the melody on six-string bass.

"My Way" was originally a french song titled "Comme d'habitude" (As usual) and co-written and sung by Claude François. It became "My Way" when Paul Anka wrote english lyrics for it.

That was a different My Way, although Cliff recorded the famous one Live in Japan in 1973.

One of the best ways of finding vocal versions of Shadows Instrumentals, is to look on you-tube. I can't really think of one vocal that is better than the original. However Cliffs original vocal of "Evening Comes" is a very nice track in its own right.

Yes, Dance On! was sung by Kathy Kirby and Cliff did a vocal of Perfidia on one of his albums (albeit a vocal originally).

Some instrumental hits have the potential to be a good vocal version too.
FBI from Cliff is great !

There are at least three separate songs called My Way:

Eddie Cochran's posthumous single: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8N9OCGJgWu4

The Shadows' song from Finders Keepers: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wxD0vefq7WU

The Thibault / Revaux / François / Anka song which everyone is sick to death of: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aht9hcDFyVw!

PS: What a resource YouTube is - even for things which are not primarily visual in nature.
