is there a mini delay pedal

I have a little space left on my pedal board; is there a mini echo pedal for shadows' delays, including the complicated one of Wonderful land?

The Baby Blue from Stanley FX will do all the Shadows echoes, but there are no presets. The echo pattern for each tune has to be set up individually.

It's currently out of stock, but I think they make them in batches, so they will be available again http://www.stanleyfx.co.uk/pedals.html

Good luck,

Hi Leonard,

I emailed Stanley FX, but they don't answer my question (when the baby blue will be available again)
Maybe someone here knows a different small delay; preferably with presets.

The Zoom MS50G is even smaller than the G1 and is capable of producing all the echos you could need. It does require programming but with a bit of research it is not that difficult ;)

If you want a muti head type delay pedal there is an excellent one made by Catalinbread . It is a digital equivalent to the Binson echorec wheel type echo unit. It gives every possible combination of a 4 playback head echo unit with 13 settings.Additionally it has an overall variable delay time control and eq on the echo. The nice final touch is a variable wow control which emulates the drift in speed on so many of the old echo units. This is an internal setting so you need to be happy with the amount of speed variation if you choose to use this.It in a very small case but does not have presets.

Approximately the same size, but crosswise: The DawnerPrince Boonar (12 x 6 x 5 cm), also an emulation of the Binson Echorec. There are 4 illuminated Buttons to simulate the 4 virtual heads, so you have even 16 possible combinations.

According to a Facebook message from Stanley FX, the Baby Blue pedal should be available again soon :

There's a lot of work gone into the hardware and software for the Baby Blue, some of it by members of this, and other forums. It's been developed from the etap echo units that you can build yourself from the opensource software. It's fitted with a 4 FET pre-amp, and the quality of the echoes is excellent. I've got one and I love it.
