Bruce Welch will be interviewed by David Hamilton to mark 60 years of The Shadows and it will be transmitted on BBC Radio Surrey and BBC Radio Sussex at 6pm on Monday 27 August(Bank holiday Monday) catch it live or on the BBC iplayer if it's available.

The BBC write up says:- It's the 60th anniversary of The Shadows, who are Britain's most successful instrumental group. David Hamilton talks to one of the original members, songwriter and record producer, Bruce Welch.

Pity he isn't saying Bruce will be joining Hank and Brian with Cliff on stage!

Well I don't suppose the diehard fans learned anything new from that, but it was nice to listen to all the same.

And he played three of the classics back to back at the end!
