Perhaps not the sound or style we espouse but a very able player nonetheless - all the more so considering he played a right-handed guitar turned upside down, later a left-handed one but still strung right-handed, rather than a true leftie.

And certainly a huge influence on a whole generation of 'surf' musicians.
