Burns Marvin on ebay

Just seen this. It looks like it could be an original from the '60s. A bit pricey, but probably worth it if it is genuinely a vintage model.

Phil Harris said he paid 4000 GBP for his and that was a few years back. But I just checked and found it had been "ended by the seller due to an error in the listing."

Alternatively, you could have a look at this (signed!) Baldwin one, which looks to be in nicer nick.

Well worth a couple of grand! Especially with Hank's signature on the back! Not sure whether the Balwins are rarer than the Burns, but the price seems to suggest that the original Burns Marvins are the ones people want. If I had the money, even though I can't play more than two chords, I'd probably buy them just to display... along with my signed Brian Bennett drum stick!!!!

(I wonder what the error was? I noticed that he'd covered up the full serial number...)

"A Low serial number" 15xxx ROFLOL
That guitar was perhaps a Baldwin to start with, the genuine Baldwin Marvin mentioned in this thread has a serial number of 14xxx ....
