Will they sell copies of the updated CD for those of us who have discarded the receipt?

Thanks for all your efforts, Iain. Are they going to withdraw the 'incorrect' CDs from sale? No sign so far - it's still in our local HMV, as well as Amazon etc.

I assume the new production run will end up in the shops. But maybe the 'wrong' CD would serve as proof of its own purchase for a free exchange?

I'd have thought that a photo of the customer holding the CD, plus maybe a section of a credit card receipt with the date, shop and price shown, would be enough for Warner/Parlophone.

Not really a big deal, it was bought at Tesco using points that my wife accrued. Another few pounds won’t break the bank just hope the sleeve is different so we don’t buy another defect.

I too would like a heads up on getting two of these as my drummer Arthur and I have this CD.
I actually like it a lot and we listen to it on a regular basis.

I received an email from Warner this morning. I quote:
Hi Iain, rest assured we will replace copies. We are waiting for a remanufacturing date based on remaining stock levels of the old version, so might be a few months before that happens.
Once we get a remanufacturing date, we will open the replacement program and I’ll be sure to let you know.
