Hi all,
Glad you liked it,
First, I have to say that the backing by the guys themselves does it all.
I had some original arrangements that I decided to leave aside, to keep close enough to the original without offending the purist.
I wish I knew what to do to make a better live recording. Maybe a better camera with separated pups?
I welcome any suggestion on live recording with reasonable means.
This is what I have used for those who may be interested.:
- Mexican Strat 2003 fitted with "Fender Pure Vintage 59's pups" / Flatwound strings (13,17,22,32,42,50)
- to -----------> MagicStomp Charlie Hall patch 11: Level 7.6 (The right echo level would be 8.5, but it would reverberate too much in the small room as it is a live sound).
- to -----------> Fender Mustang IV amp ("Basic Studio Pre-amp" amp model)
- P.A. System playing live backing track, and Mustang amp both right behind me.
- Live recording with Sony Mini Camcorder HDR-MV1 (2.4 feet in front of me).
Blessings,
Abel
