...Fascinating stuff! So it seems that, as of 2002, the BBC had a pretty good selection of material to choose from, if you included that stuff taped by 'Mr Engineer' between 1960 and 1962. Obviously none of the latter has materialised on the recent CD, which is a terrible shame. It's also a shame that, from the looks of it, there is nothing from 1963, 1964 and up until Christmas Day 1965.
Anyway, an incredible feat of research and, by the sounds of it, endurance! I sincerely hope that a second volume of the BBC CD will eventually see the light of day and would hope that there is even the slight possibility that some recordings from those 'missing years' may turn up. I notice from Hoffers' appendix that the 'other' 1973/74 version of Apache is mentioned, although he omits Dance On, The Rise and Fall of Flingel Bunt and The Frightened City from the John Peel sessions.
