Thanks,
I still have hopes it will be possible to get close to the 'the 'Savage' delay with just 1 Nux,
as I don't have room for another pedal on my board.

I think the best way to get that effect would be to set the third head to 360ms with some repeats because that ls the one that stands out on the Meazzi.

I did manage to download the firmware and software,
At first I was wondering what the blinking orange (instead of steady red) led on the pedal meant,
but I use an old CIOX AC Rider power supply on my pedal board, which delivers 9V, but only 75mA.
This pedal requires 103 mA, so I can only use it with the 9V battery, which will probably last only a few hours.
Also, it is unfortunate that the settings of the 3 remaining pots cannot be stored.
So you have to dial in a 'common denominator' for the 3 pots, if you quickly want to change presets on stage.
So I doubt if I will use this pedal much...

Been there done that with my two Zoom MS-100 BT pedals but it's a waste f time as you only need four heads for most of the tunes. I discovered that it was easy to ruin the sound by trying to use too many taps.
I picked up the second MS-100BT on eBay for back up. :)

You are wright, it is useless, was just the thought.
I programmed my Zoom's with five heads and an equalizer, that is enough.

The Zoom pedals are still great pieces of kit though and I recommend those very highly if you understand how to use them. :)

Hi Dave

I have given up on the Strymon Volante

I want to put a Nux tape core on one of my pedalboards.
You have made a positive review, but I have heard of a well knows defect/fault.
Have you experienced this, or is it fake news.

Looking foreward to your answer

Regards
Niels

For what it's worth I think the Strymon Volante is a great machine and if I can find one at the right price I'll buy it.My experience with the Nux Tape Core has been mixed. I have two on my pedal board that work great and sound terrific, but I bought two more from the Bax Music Shop and had major problems as they were faulty. I eventually got a full refund. I tried linking them all together whilst they were performing properly, but didn't find any benefit from doing so.
Currently I am using my Zoom MS-100 BT and bought a spare one of those
