1. Highlight and copy the URL on the Youtube page.

2. Click the "Youtube" icon as you compose your post on this site.

3. Paste the Youtube URL into the space between the two fields which look like this:

[YouTube][/YouTube], so that it looks like this:

[YouTube]YOURYOUTUBEURL[/YouTube]

Hi Vic

The simplest way is to ensure your web browser is showing the full YouTube URL link, copy it and paste it into the post in a line on its own.

This may not be as fancy as having the video displayed in the post, but will usually work for everyone!

There has been a problem with the [YouTube] URL [/YouTube] coding for some months. On the Safari browser it displays in the posting as blank space. I don’t know how it behaves with other browsers.

I have reported it to Admin who is the only person with the keys for the software’s innermost secrets! So far, no joy. Bob’s the man to ask.

The ordinary URL coding works fine but you don’t get a thumbnail preview.
