But I felt cheated!!!

It happened to be the first time I saw the Shadows live and I wasn't sure I was going to enjoy it without Bruce anyway, but then Hank didn't appear and it just wasn't the Shadows!

Marc Knopfler was playing Wonderful land with Bruce Welch while Hank was backstage.Marc was very happy at that moment.Do you remember that?

The only photograph I have seen was in one of the Shadows tour programmes and Hank is on stage...

Here's Bruce, Jet and a guy with dark hair and glasses playing a fiesta red Strat, and behind them is a skilful drummer playing a compact Ludwig kit and using conventional grip. They are playing Apache . . . . . . . with a little imagination it's 1960 again!

The guy with the dark hair is actually Colin Pryce-Jones and the drummer John Tuck, both members of the great Shadows-style band The Rapiers.
