Thankyou Brian and Ian
Ian I tried using the AC30 Treble sound on the amp as I have done WL several times but never really got that close to the original (which original - I listened to At Abbey Rd and 20 Golden Greats and they are very different) In the end I got a sound I was really happy with at home which sounded fab in the room but does not really come across as good on camera mic. It's not 'the sound' HBM did but I liked it

The picking over the bridge PU was what made the sound on that amp setting come through and I find it's where the likes of Apache were played before the mid PU area notably. The james Bond theme sounds great around the bridge or just before it and as guitarists we have to get away from just simply playing in the 'comfortable position' if we want a good recorded sound and experimentation is the key.

I must get me a good microphone or two and use it because thats another story ain't it
