Hi All
I've had a bit of spare time on my hands recently and being a bit of computer geek (don't tell anybody!!) I've setup a streaming radio station dedicated to The Shadows. The server is currently on "Auto Pilot" so you will hear just song tracks.

In the coming days I will setup Song Requests and also in time will act as DJ at specific times to introduce, promote gigs, dedications etc..

The server is in test phase at the moment just to see how many listeners the stream can take. I hope the Admins and OPS don't mind, but I have placed a link to shadowsmusic.co.uk on the website.

Comments welcome.

Great idea!

I can receive it here in The Canaries but with some problems with my poor wifi connection.

Cheers,

Brilliant idea! I've just requested four songs/tunes:

Spider Juice, Love DeLuxe, Little B ('75) and Honourable Puff-Puff!

ENJOY!!!

Best of luck.

I've now setup the station on a request only basis. All requests will be put in the playlist queue immediately so you should hear your song within a few minutes. Thanks to all who have tuned in. The station hit a massive peak of 4 simultaneous listeners a few days ago!! :D I'm not sure that tested the server to its peak though.

Hi Lee,

I've just had Gutbucket, Stand Up Like a Man, Maroc 7 and Mustang played and have to say that the station is great for listening to those tracks that you want to hear now and again as a treat without having to navigate through possibly multiple albums.

Personally I am getting the sound in slightly distorted mono, as if it peaking on the old VU meters. The sound on other some other stations on Audiorealm is near to perfect. I don't know if you can make any adjustments or even if other people are getting the same, better or worse quality. However, it's new so there are bound to be teething problems.

Well done.
