Hi Ian,

First of all, congratulations on becoming a granddad for the first time. I've yet to experience that myself but it's the second time today that I've had friends in that situation with their first grandchild. They tell me it's pretty good.

I have only heard the Jet Harris version of that piece in more recent times. I thought you did a great job with "touching up" the BT and your own performance on this one. I think I also heard Charles in there somewhere. Nice post! I enjoyed listening to the piece several times.

I too saw Jet play this one at Shadowmania and I recently uploaded his video to youtube, so the song is fresh in my head.

Love the deep notes you got with help from Salvo, and CC's added harmony guitars are brill too.

My thanks to Salvo for helping with that free VST plug in. It takes any note down by any amount up to qa full octave - clever little thing.
No Phil, I'm not turning into a Bass player! Actually, I've never tried to play a Bass guitar - ever!

FOREVER HOLIDAYING???? How dare you? I go to Blackpool for a few days, to visit my Mother and Father, (YES I do have one!), and get accused of being permanently on holiday, when in fact I'm RETIRED! I'm so upset I won't tell you that the next Congleton meeting is October 30th NOT the 25th. Oh Heck! Now I've told you.
Looking forward to hearing you play that Theme for something or other, so I can get a snooze between the Important bits.
