Meazzi Echomatic 2 sound clip

Postby Brian Leary » 02 Oct 2009, 13:40

Just to support Bojan's echo tecnique, here's a short country lead with eTAP Engineer's VST plug-in on the Meazzi Echomatic preset on the lead track. Reverb on the percussion and master output compressed for 16bit mastering.

Enjoy

I found your echo technique very interesting Bojan and it's something I will try myself especialy on the file you posted to see if I can replicate your sound. I believe Peter Korving has a similar feed on his echos--repeat on repeat.

On the Meazzi Echomatic VST, I have 4 heads with full feedback on head four, Saturation setting at 12 oclock and the Halo set at 8 oclock. Wet in at 10 oclock and total feedback at 7 oclock. Head variance enabled and ping pong enabled at 9 oclock feedback.

Here's my original wav lead for you to try. I haven't the tab for your file--would you consider posting and lettting me use your method on your dry lead line please?

No problem Toby, but I'm not sure I understand you. Which dry lead line of mine would you like me to post for you to use my method on?

In the meantime, I have taken your original wav lead and used my method, only I added a different echo, which I think goes very well for this particular lead line. Try it together with your backing, I'm sure it will sound great. Send me your address by private message and I'll email it to you because it's a wav file and it would take too long to upload (10 MB)

I really enjoyed that first sound clip Toby.

Some terrific playing and a great country sound - I imagine that you were playing a Tele ?

Hi again Bojan, I'm refering to the dry 'Blue Star' lead before you've applied your echos. I want to try and replicate your results it if I can.

My addy is tobyjameson@hotmail.com and I can recieve your file Bojan.

Roger, my dry country lead was on a Line 6 Variaxe. Amazing guitar but as I mentioned and you can hear the bottom E has fret rattle.

Regards,

Toby.
