I was under the impression that this sort of request was discouraged here.

Yes Jim you are correct, this kind of request is not encouraged here, if the poster was asking where he can buy them thats a different story.....................

The Next Time:

Sorry that the above are not "free copies" but that is because various talented people went to the trouble of producing them in the first place.

Average Strat + amp + echo unit= £1,000.
Average BT CD with a dozen tracks = £12.

A bit like refusing to pay 119.9p for a litre of petrol after buying a £15,000 car
(ex-guitar player) - now a ukulele and ukulele bass player!
Update: After 10 years absence, now a born-again Hankie

As a moderator myself, on other forums, I only delete posts as a last resort. This sort of post, however, can do nothing but bring the forum into disrepute and if I were a mod here it would be deleted immediately and without warning.

Make your own BTs, Fiesta Man..... you being an expert and putting out your own tutorials.
Should be simple for a man of your talents.

Sorry friends,

I accept that the work of producers of BTs is worth all the money and should be payed.

What makes me a very angry is that you all put down Richie Cockburn (fiesta man ) - but if you have a look at "Backing Tracks" and the request from Bojan for a BT for "Giant" nobody seems to care about. (and referring to Göran Tangring- who does not have it on his list it does not look like Bojan was asking where he can buy the BT !!!). I`m sure he knows Leos Den , Pastmasters and all the others-.

Is it because Bojan belongs to the "inner circle" of the community that none of you comments on his request like you do on Richies ? It´s a shame how you treat him. May be he was not lucky with his "tutorials" but the way you treat him is not fair. If you don`t like him you have the option to ignore him and not to put him down the way you do. When I look at the number and content of comments to his tutorials I`m thinking of leaving the community.

Regards Ernst

Hello, Ernst,

I know almost nothing about fiesta man's tutorials and I'm sorry if the OP feels a bit "shot at".

However, the reason I posted above is that there is a rule that members should not seek copies of copyright recordings in requests on this site. That is true no matter who is doing the seeking.

I hope that has clarified things a little.

Hi Jim,

thanks for your answer. I agree with you- but I miss a comment to my second question about Bojans request.
