How do you place a mark and a note on the map, please?

Do you see an Edit button near the top left of the page, if so, click that. If not I may need to invite you and I will need your email address. PM me your email address if you have no luck.

I've just noticed that someone has added Bruce Welch Music to the map so it must be possible for all :-)

Ok. It didn't take long for the map to get abused by the public!! The 3 places which were placed on the map have now been moved all over Europe. If you are still interested in this map, PM me your email address and I'll close it up so only invited people can edit the map.

Cliff and The Drifters earliest TV performances were on 'Oh Boy!' broadcast live from the Empire Theatre, in Mare Street, Hackney, from 13th Sept.1958 -30th May 1959. Rehearsals each week were held at the 'Four Provinces of Ireland Club' at 13, Canonbury Lane, London N1.
Cliff rented a flat at 100 Marylebone High Street from January 1959 and it became a well-known crash pad for all the band members, as well as other artists/acts on tour including compere Jimmy Tarbuck.

Hi

Hank lived at 64 Lullington Garth, Finchley and later sold the house to Brian Bennett. That's where the famous shed was located. John Farrar lived in a Flat in Potters Bar, just past the Railway Station and then bought John Rostill's old house before moving to the states. I think Hank moved to Totteridge when he left Finchley.

Regards

Stuart

This is all very interesting stuff. Could anyone put these places on the map?
I don't expect a commercial Shadows' tour to emerge, but I would certainly visit some of thes places
when in London and in the neighbourhood.
