Switzerland

16.August 1965 Geneva, Patinoire des Vernets

http://maps.google.ch/maps?q=Maps&rlz=1 ... =de&tab=wl

We took in three countries in ten days, playing places like Marseilles, Casablanca, Zürich and finally Geneva where we performed in a type of boxing ring-that’s what they call learning the ropes! We had the end of the act worked out with military precision almost to the second. As the exit was so far away from the Daye, and we were right in the middle of the audience, the only way we could get away without being mobbed was to be plunged into total darkness and make a dash for it.

I know that David. It were in the right place at the start, but last time I saw it, it was in Turkey, I guess.

This one was also moved by some "funny" people. It has been in Asia too :-)
Both The 2i's, The Abbey Road Studio and the former address of Bruce Welch music were all in the right place to start.

I wonder if we could make a "sticky" of this map?
Also, could present days' Shadows'/Richard houses be indicated?

I would suggest that locating and identifying current residential addresses is not a good idea.

Maybe it would be a good idea to also have photos of the locations.

Been reading this thread and it reminds me of the Magical Mystery tour in Liverpool. Imagine a tour of Cliff Richard & The Shadows history in a Bedford bus like the one they first started touring in.
The problem is some of the history is in Newcastle, miles away from London. There must also be some landmarks there too?
