THREE SHIPS- LIVE VIDEO

Postby Stratpicker » 21 May 2010, 12:19

Another vid from Warwick meeting of 16th May.
This great tune is a composition by our own Charles Campbell (Geronimo7476) who has kept it under wraps for far too long. CC had no idea I was going to play it at the Warwick meet.
The beautiful BT is by Charles, of course – all I had to do was play the Lead. A couple of fluffs in there but not too bad.
Video by Charles too – from his phobile moan.
House rig of Zoom2000EFTP and Ace Award Session was set a little too “warm” compared to my own Vox settings for this tune but its turned out OK. My Brason Strat of course.
I really wanted everyone to hear this tune so enjoy the music and try to ignore “Mr Pastry” !!LOL!!
Cheers

Hi Ian,

That was a brilliant number from Charles and I thought you played it really well. :D :D :D I loved the nice warm tone and overall sound you obtained with the piece. 'Live' normally means "warts and all" but I didn't discover too many warts.

Congratulations on another fine effort. I enjoyed your live version of that beautiful piece of music. Congratulations should go to Charles too for that wonderful composition.

Cheers,
Len

Jolly nice Slockington.
Can't you get a dye for that moustache ?
And perhaps, a black syrup.

Goodness me! Where did this one rock up from!!
Posted in May last year  and only that nice Mr Sorrell listened to it and posted a comment.
Andres, you must have had to dig very deep to find it!!
Thank you for the kind words and to Ecca also.
I've tried to grow a moustache like your Avtar, Ecca, but have run out of Cherry Blosom to colour it up. I could do with a syrup. If you note the video, they had to turn off the Spot to Stage Right of me because the light was bouncing off my nut and dazzling the front row!
Maybe I should ask Bakey where he got his!! - lol!!
The wonderful "Men In Black" - Al Bakewell, Ecca (knees) Curmudgeon and me!
