Gibson tremolo (I think Ecca'll like this one)

Just ordered this from Rockinger (Germany):

It's intended to fit on a Gibson Les Paul Standard that's not long come my way. Wonder what sort of Shads sound I might get out of it? Perhaps Gretsch Country Gent'll be nearer the mark?

I made a bracket like this some years back.
Is that price for the bracket or the trem as well ?

There was already a tremolo suitable for Gibson Les Paul from Stetsbar : http://stetsbar.com/stop.tail.html
Although rather extensive...

The trouble I found with Bigsbys was that they have no life in them
You have to move the arm up and down about a foot to get any action.
I had the brainwave of increasing the diameter of the bar that the strings wrap round but
the side effect of this was the effort required , you had to have muscles like Garth.
I've hads loads of trems in my time, including a Stetsbar, I'm just flogging another dud, a Kahler, but the best one is the one designed by Leo Fender.
What a good engineer he was.

I like guitars just like Leo designed em ! The strat vintage trem is a design classic . I do find the Stetsbar requires a bit more movement than say a Strat but it works well on the Gibson
