Hi Everyone

I must apologise for not being on the sites too often as I have been very busy. The TVS team has also been busy with Paul being overseas and winning awards on his model planes and Gary working hard with Hank and the band.
Yesterday Gary recorded Equinox.

I have posted two versions:
(1) A longer version using UB Hank Backing

(2) A shorter version using UB Hank Backing but with the synthesizer part removed.

Good job for this Jean-Michel Jarre's tune.

Hi Didier

Thanks for your comments!!
jmj has certainly got talent as a performer and composer and what a great entertainer...loved it.

Tell me....is that his original version or just a different version he has performed? The reason I ask this is that he has omitted that nice part that follows the normal synthesiser section. Do you know the part I speak of?

Cheers

Hi Spike,

Jean-Michel Jarre's "live" performances are rarely 100% "live", he almost always uses some prerecorded parts, but these prerecorded parts are genarally new, with arrangements different from the original recording. This was obviously the case for this Monaco concert. There wasn't not enough musicians on stage to play all the instruments which can be heard...
BTW, this concert was aired on TV, I recorded it and made my own DVD from it.

Hi Didier

Thanks for that information.
I would have loved to have attended one of his concerts...oh well when you live in Perth its pretty hard.

My wife and I attended a concert in Sydney a few weeks back where the Jersey Boys were playing and to hear them do Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons so well was a night to remember.
We also saw Hair Spray and that too was another memorable event.

Anyway...Hope all is well for you and all our French connections. How is Matilda getting on?

Cheers and Thanks
