Okay....I'll try again. I posted replies to this twice yesterday, but for some reason they didn't show up. Anyway - the synopsis of what I said is that I thought that the whole thing was basically bloody excellent!! Composition, recording and performance all faultless. And I see you've posted the complete work which is something I also requested. That's a keeper for me.

Piet (Pete) suggested strings instead of the Hammond. It can always be improved.

I think if this was something I'd been working on, my natural inclination would have been to use strings...but you know what?? I like the use of the Hammond, it gives the whole thing a different flavour. It's all subjective anyway.... ;)

Bri, absolutely awesome ! I agree with your comments to Peter. I guess for some of us, as we get older,
the challenge is for something different. Personally as with you I have drifted away somewhat but with
almost 7 decades under my belt it's time for new horizons.

Darrel ( fred ) 8-)

Try Blues playing Fred. All it comprises of is up and down the pentatonic scale. You just need to know when to stop-- somewhere along the 20 minute timeline :D

Quite obviously a lot of work went into this soundfile and what a terrific result.

I too like the sound of the Hammond - it fits so well with this number.
