Hmmmmm - Guy Bodart - Is this the guy who caused a bit of a stir around these parts - perhaps as long ago as the "old" forum??

It is, but I don't think that's his web site. More likely one set up by someone he has upset - if anyone that remembers him can believe that he'd upset anyone

Any one who goes on Charlie's site will know that Guy has been selling Charlie's EFTP programmed units without authorisation...

It gets better than that, he is now claiming that Charlie Hall has copied his (Guy Bodart) echo patches.

You might enjoy this too. He makes and sell Gold plated coffins that "Automatically Mummify the body". This is not always appreciated, see link.

I thought that Guy Bodart was quite strange when I read his posts a long time ago in the old Shadows forum. He painted himself as a well-heeled person with interests in motor racing, cars, traveling to expensive places, if I recall right. Unfortunately, at least one of my countrymen who does Shadows covers in YouTube videos refers to him as a good friend who built his guitar.

I concluded before that Bodart is probably a concocted person, made up by a backroom person -a 60s musician most likely. I hope that person isn't Filipino! His English wasn't that of a native American speaker, but the gramatical pattern wasn't Filipino either. Strange person.

Hi Andy,

Guy Bodart is from Belgium, his native language is French. In the late sixties he played rythm guitar in a Belgian band called "Mec Op Singers" which had a small local hit with a tune called "Dies Irae" :

He later moved to the USA where he runs a camera business.
