Hubert Sumlin RIP

Just heard that hubert Sumlin has died aged 80
For years he was howlin' Wolfs guitarist. I saw them together at the Cooks Ferry Inn, Edmonton in '64 and chatted to him in the interval. He was kind enough to show me a couple of his blues licks which had more soul in a few notes than i'd ever heard before!! Certainly inspired Clapton!!
