I just heard about this guy a few minutes ago from a posting on another site. It seems really weird watching his fingering(or lack of it) when he plays.
But it seems to work for him :?

Hi
Dick Dale has his guitars strung as a right handed guiar ,even though he plays left handed
i presume he must of learnt to play with a right handed guitar, turned upside down
as per jimi hendrix ,but left the stringing the same.
very strange to watch

regards
Jay

Over the years, I've met quite a few left-handed guitarists who play with the strings the normal way round.

One I can think of immediately is Alan Rogers (a great player who co-runs the Dartford Shads club), whose left handed guitars could be picked up and played by a right-handed player.
