Hello everybody...

Here is something new that I have written and recorded in tribute to my lovely woman - of course with more than a nod to Hank and Bruce (looking and sounding wonderful on tour)...

Let me know what you think of the mix - I have some new monitors and I am still getting used to them!!

Thanks everybody,

Keep very well,

Tony.

Hi Tony - I know that the Sound Files section isn't all that active at the moment but I find it hard to see why there has been no reply yet to this terrific soundfile of yours.

It's a lovely melody line and the balance in the mix sounds perfect on my system. The only thing that I would say on a slightly negative note is that I'm not keen on the instrument in the backing (a synth I guess) which has a warbling type of sound.

Hi there,

I really enjoyed listening to your self composed tracks. You definitely have a nice style coupled with a full sounding arrangement.

I personally love the synth sounds as well, it reminds me of a band I think from Belgium "The Tabous" their recording style is similar.

Well done and look forward to hearing more of your recordings.

Regards
Chris

Hello Chris and Roger!

Thanks to you both for your really nice words.....!

I think the sound you are picking up on is actually another guitar track - but I have been playing with a harmoniser through it, giving it that weird tone. I do think its a 'marmite' sound though, you either hate it or love it - but I like in in the context of this tune......and it gives another colour to the track....

But thanks for listening guys!!

Keep well,

Tony.
