I just returned from my holidays (in Greece) . . . I had to respond to this post because I adore this song and you do it justice with your soulful and delicate interpretation!! My compliments!!

As far as the BT is concerned, I agree with Ecca . . . I cannot imagine this song without the characteristic wah-vibrato, especially in the intro, which I remember Ecca trying to nail, and doing it quite successfully too (I think he also posted a version of this song. Later a friend of mine sent me a good quality Karaoke BT, with the wah, and I also posted a version on YouTube with my Apache Burns -- but that is another story).

In any case Phil, I really enjoyed your video and your playing of this hauntingly beautiful love song.

I know what you mean about the Wah-Vibrato BT It's sort of a characteristic of the "Bread" sound.
I did hear a version by Roberto in Brazil on YouTube who used Ecca's BT and it did sound a good BT.
And I just looked up yours using your Burns 50th which is also very good.
Every now and again Ameritz do an offer for 24 hours - All BT's 50p each if you buy 5 - That's when I bought the "If" BT.
