Well Donna, I wouldn't say the tab you posted is 100% correct, but it's good enough to gve someone an idea of what is required.

Play it like that and you won't sound too bad at all!

If the tab produces the correct notes then it is correct, David. I suggest you use the one that feels easier. Does that answer the question or have I missed the point?

I think Donna's tab is pretty close, or at least close to how I play it! I think there should be an extra B note (2nd string 12th fret) in bar 38 and the E note (5th string 7th fret) in bar 58 should be an A note (4th string 7th fret).

Ha ha. Course not. Chords and lyrics are very useful all round. So is tab to those who like to use it.

Surely tabs are marvellous and thanks to all who produce them - if there's a (rare?) mistake and you can hear it, well then correct it as you play. Finding a different better best position on the frets is easy if you know the right note. By the time I work out a tune from scratch I am often so fed up with it I no longer want to play it!!

My thought exactly, use the tab to learn and then adapt it to suit your style of playing.
I have worked out songs from scratch and then never played them again as I've got fed up of playing them over and over again to get it right
