This very neat housing was made for me by my friend Des McNeill who used aeromodeling grade plywood lined with metal litho plate for screening. We had the front and back panels made by a commercial engraving company. He then covered the box with Vox tan coloured vinyl. I think it looks great :D

Now, that's a face plate that I can read clearly. Would that fit Ecca's unit? (It looks very similar) and can it be reproduced easily? :D

If it could be done at a reasonable cost, it would suit me, However, I'm watching your other developments and if something else came up which I was interested in, I'd be happy leaving the original as a back up as it is, but I guess it all depends on your plans. ;)

I'll not be using the knobs with the scale on them- it'll be etched into the nameplate.
I'll use aluminium again, no painting, no rust.
The box is lightly bigger to allow for the valves, it's 10 by 3 by 8.
It will require a 12 volts AC power supply,

Hi Alan,

The front and rear panels are both 204 mm x 52 mm, if that's any help. I did the design work and Des arranged to have them made. I'm not sure how many he ordered but, maybe he'll reply if he reads this?

Hi Alan,
I ordered five sets, front and back, since I was making five boxes. I will enquire pricing on individual sets but they were not expensive.
