Hello from LA

am based in LA, visit the UK often as my son lives in Hastings. Connected with the Shadows Perth site and Shadowsarena.I have attended and played at pre-Shadowmania the past two occasions. I am a Shadows nut, would like to connect up with similar nuts in the South East. Will be in Hastings 7th to 15th August this time. I play steel guitar and have three CDs on Shadows-style music (see Leo's Den website).

If you could organise it, you would, I'm sure, be very welcome at the Kent Shadows Club (in Strood) on Wednesday 7th.

Strood is about 50 miles from Hastings and can be driven in about 80 minutes via Tonbridge, Pembury and Paddock Wood.

But you may, of course, not be ready for an excursion on the day you arrive.

How would Langley (south Maidstone) on Sunday 11th August sound?

Many thanks for the invite tonight, but it would be a bit of a stretch..... Sunday looks a better bet. Please let me know venue and time.

I would also be interested in jamming with any members close to Sussex/Kent area, my schedule so far is pretty relaxed. I have backing tracks with me but no amp.
