Clubs in Essex and Kent

Hi,
I am new to this community and would like to attend your (local) clubs. I live in Essex and have observed that you have a club in Southend as well as Dartford and Strood. The Strood club appears to be currently active (by way of posts and information etc.) however Southend and Dartford appear to be quiet in that respect.
Are they still active? Any information would be appreciated.

Southend club meets on the last Tuesday of the month (last night was well attended!).

There's also a club in Burnham on Crouch, run by Rick Fitz-Patrick, that meets on the 1st Tuesday of the month (next week).
