Evening all.
Can anybody tell me please if there's a BT available anywhere for Theme For Something Really Important, as played in the style of Jet Harris?

There was a cd out a while ago from Robbo's backing cd's I believe for Jets version. Try the "Tabman" site first, then Leo's den.

There's also the Duane Eddy version (the original) available from Tony Kieks site (Australia)

I have a BT and demo for Theme For Something Really Important, in the Jet Harris/Duane Eddy style, that you can play online at my OzzieTrax website at

I have over 2,000 backing tracks available, not all of them are shown in my catalog because it's too hard to manage so many, but I keep a huge archive on my HD. Not just Shadows, but Ventures, Beach Boys, Beatles, Buddy Holly, Elvis, Lulu, Glen Campbell, John Barry, Mike Batt, Simon & Garfunkel, Diana Ross, Olivia NJ, Bread, Gerry & Pacemakers, musicals (e.g. Cats, Phantom, WoW) etc. etc. Just email me with your request as I can probably supply BT's for just about anything.

The only thing I don't do much these days is to make bespoke backing tracks (although I could be tempted if sufficient grease is applied to the palm).
