Marty Wilde Show

A great show for those who love 60s music! Backed by the excellent Wildcats, Mary (75) is joined by Eden Kane (74), John Leyton - still going at 79 and Nancy Ann Lee! Caught them last night at Buxton Opera House! The oldies can still rock! :D

'Tomorrow's Clown' ...what a great sounding song, I'm actually listening to him now :P .
I've seen his shows advertised around, but never managed to actually go to any of them, wish i had of done now. I did manage to catch Chuck Berry and Jerry Lee Lewis at Wolverhampton's Civic Hall a few years ago, about 2004 i think it was. Never thought i'd get the opportunity to see these 2 billed together live, i was 26 at the time (i'm 36 now), and although they were getting on a bit, thought they were great.
I reckon if i did go and see 1 of Marty's package shows, with other English stars billed, i'd be just as wowed. It is a great pleasure to actually get to see these people who we are listening to, especially when your my age and listening to them and missed them 1st time around.
Another 1 i missed was Status Quo playing at Dudley Castle  I bet that was great too.

Hi Ryan, you would love a package show with Marty (or has he changed his name to Mary?). Get yourself to Butlins at Skegness in December for a really good weekend of sixties bands, its brilliant!!

Best regards,
Baz.
